Choose Energy only works with trusted electric providers that we feel comfortable recommending to consumers. We use strict criteria to determine which companies to partner with. Those criteria include reliability, variety of plans, affordability, and customer service.
TriEagle Energy meets all of our criteria, which is why we’re happy to include them in our marketplace.
Types of rates offered by TriEagle Energy
On the Choose Energy marketplace, you’ll find several fixed-rate TriEagle Energy plans available. Fixed-rate plans offer a single monthly rate that you pay for electricity, so you don’t have to worry about fluctuations in the market cost.
TriEagle Energy doesn’t currently offer variable-rate plans, though many other providers do. A variable-rate plan doesn’t lock you into a contract, and your rate each month is based on the current energy market.
When you’re ready, enter your ZIP code above to explore TriEagle Energy rates near you.
No deposit options from TriEagle Energy

While TriEagle Energy does not offer a specific no-deposit plan, there are many prepaid options on the Choose Energy marketplace. Enter your ZIP code above to explore no-deposit energy plans in Texas.

Renting with TriEagle Energy
TriEagle Energy doesn’t just service homeowners. Renters can also find energy plans that work for them on the Choose Energy marketplace. While the company doesn’t offer month-to-month plans, it does offer relatively short-term plans and makes it easy to transfer your service if you move.
Cancellation fees
Like most providers, TriEagle Energy charges an early termination fee if you cancel your service before the end of your contract. Most providers charge these fees, and the fee you’ll pay depends on your energy provider and the length of your plan. TriEagle Energy offers a cancellation fee of $20 per month remaining on your contract.
Satisfaction guarantee
TriEagle Energy offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re unhappy with your plan, you can cancel within 30 days of the activation date and avoid paying an early termination fee.
TriEagle Energy business electricity
TriEagle Energy offers customizable energy plans and tools for businesses. Commercial customers can monitor usage and ultimately be more efficient with your energy and what you’re spending on it. You can also explore renewable energy plans for your company.
Other TriEagle Energy initiatives
Through the Connected Savings program, you can get an Energy ScoreCard that tells you what is increasing your energy use and how to lower it. By comparing data from a Smart Thermostat, you could also learn how your home is reacting to certain weather. Being aware of your energy consumption can help you reduce your monthly bill.
Community investment
TriEagle Energy donated WeatherBug weather stations to various schools across Texas. The donation was part of a multi-state weather station program launched in 2016 to give students and educators access to science-based learning opportunities.
